Your actual safari may be a modification of any of them or a combination of several. Any of them can be budget or luxury.

Nairobi City Tours

MH1 The Maasai Market
The market is a rich collection of cultural articles from the Maasai community as well as handcrafts from different parts of Kenya. It is the most popular shop for handcrafts in Nairobi and is the apex of Kenyan beauty and diversity. This can be combined with other points of interest like Nairobi Safari Walk or Museum. 2-3 hrs daily on request

MH2 Bomas of Kenya
A short drive from the city centre of your hotel will take you to the Bomas of Kenya. It is a cultural centre depicting Kenya’s ethnic groups who are represented with their model traditional villages. You will also have a chance to be entertained with various colourful dances of Africa. 2-3 hrs daily on request

MH3 Nairobi National Park
The main gate to Nairobi National Park in only 15 minutes drive from your hotel. Here, you have the chance to see plains game including rare species like black rhinos, giraffes and lions.
3-5 hrs daily on request

MH4 Karen Blixen and Giraffe Centre
You start off with a visit to the former home of the famous author; Karen von Blixen. The house, called Karen Blixen Museum contains many of her original works and pieces along with some donated by the makers of the film “Out of Africa”. The proceed to the nearby giraffe centre – a sanctuary of the unique and endangered Rothschild giraffe - where you have the opportunity to watch and feed giraffes at close range, perhaps the closest you can get to the tallest animal on earth! 3-4 hrs daily on request

MH5 Daphne Sheldrick Orphanage
Visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Animal orphanage on the fringes of Nairobi National Park. It’s an orphanage for orphaned elephants and here you have the opportunity to mingle with baby elephants and learn about their plight. 4 hrs daily on request

MH6 Carnivore Lunch/Dinner
Obviously one of the best restaurants in Africa, Carnivore has many international awards to its name. Here you have the chance to sample Kenya’s delight and sumptuous game meat like crocodile, ostrich and others depending on availability and season (Vegetarian dishes are also available).

MH7 Naivasha -Nakuru Day 1 Nairobi -Naivasha Leave Nairobi for Naivasha. Brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point and proceed to Naivasha. Visit Hell’s Gate National Park; Trek at the gorge and admire unique features like Fishers and Central Towers. Also geothermal power plants as you exit the park. Stop by for lunch and boat ride at the shore of Lake Naivasha. Proceed to Nakuru and check in at the hotel. Day 2 Nakuru After breakfast, visit Lake Nakuru National park. Birds’ safari along the shore line; photography and relaxing walks at the Baboon Cliff and Makalia Fall’s. Lunch at the hotel and relax before an evening game drive. Back to hotel for overnight stay. MH8 Mt Kenya

Day 1 Nairobi – Mt.Kenya
Early morning depart for Mt.Kenya. Lunch at the Ark hotel and proceed to Mt Kenya. Check in at the hotel and relax. Evening game drive at the Sweet Waters Game Sanctuary.
Day 2
Breakfast and carry picnic lunch. Climbing Mt.Kenya at Sirimon Gate. Lunch and back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Or drive to Samburu whole day and back
Day 3
Drive back to Nairobi after lunch. To the hotel or Airport.

MH9 Amboseli

Day 1 Nairobi – Amboseli
Early morning departure from Nairobi to Amboseli. Check in at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge and have lunch. Evening game drive offers you a chance to see elephants and the big cats. The majestic Kilimanjaro is a significant landscape here.
Day 2
Amboseli whole day. Game drives and cultural visits at Maasai homes. Also a relaxing walk at the panoramic Nomatior observation hill. Back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3
Drive back to Nairobi after lunch. To the hotel or Airport.Or leave for Tsavo West for an extra night if possible

5-6 Days Safari

MH10 Naivasha – Nakuru – Maasai Mara

Day 1 Naivasha - Nakuru
Leave for Naivasha after breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National park. Lunch at a Lake Naivasha hotel and proceed to Nakuru. Check in at the hotel/lodge/Camp. Evening walk and overnight stay.
Day 2 Nakuru
Game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast. Back to the hotel for lunch and afternoon rest. Walk and photography at the Menengai Crater. Nakuru town for shopping and drink if preferred. Back to the lodge for overnight stay.
Day3 Nakuru –Mara
Leave for Maasai Mara after breakfast and have a break at Narok town.
Check in at the Lodge or tented camp. Evening game drive and back to the camp for overnight stay.
Day 4 Maasai –Mara
Early morning balloon adventure, return for breakfast and relax.
Late evening game drive and back for dinner at the camp.
Day 5 Maasai Mara
Maasai Mara whole day with game drives and cultural visits to Maasai homes
Day 6 Mara –Nairobi
Leave for Nairobi after breakfast.

MH11 Amboseli – Mombasa

Day1
Leave Nairobi for Amboseli National Park after breakfast. Check in at the lodge for lunch.Relax and go for an afternoon game drive. Overnight stay
Day 2
Spend a whole day at Amboseli with game drives and cultural visit.Back to the lodge to relax and overnight stay.
Day 3
Depart for Tsavo west after breakfast, and check in at a safari camp or lodge. After lunch, game drives and landscape viewing – Shetani Lava, Mzima Springs and Ngulia sanctuary. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4
Proceed to Mombasa after breakfast and visit Fort Jesus National Monument and the Haller Park.
Lunch at Haller Park and proceed to Malindi. Check in at the hotel for dinner and over night stay.
Day 5
Malindi whole day; snorkeling in Watamu Marine Park. Back to the beach hotel to relax and overnight stay.
Day 6
Depart for Nairobi after breakfast by road or afternoon flight to Nairobi.

8-10 Days Safari

MH12 Maasai Mara – Rift Valley – Samburu

Day 1 Nairobi
Meet at the Airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 Nairobi – Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara and check in for lunch at the lodge or tented camp.
Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Maasai Mara
Spend full day in the reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives.
Picnic lunch at Mara River; back to the lodge/camp.
Day 4 Maasai Mara
Spend full day in Maasai Mara, with balloon adventure. Have breakfast and relax, thereafter walking safari and cultural visit.
Day 5 Maasai Mara – Nakuru
Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast and check in for lunch at the lodge/hotel. Relax dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 Lake Nakuru
Spend a full day at the Park, with morning game drives and lunch at the lodge. Walking and photography at Menengai crater later in the day and back to the lodge for overnight stay.
Day 7 Nakuru –Bogoria
Leave Nakuru for Bogoria after breakfast
Game drive and snack break at the hot springs and proceed to Island Camp in Lake Baringo.
Relax and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 8 Bogoria –Samburu
Leave for Samburu after breakfast, snack break and photography at Thompson’s falls.Arrive in Samburu late afternoon and check in at a safari lodge. Relax dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 9 Samburu
Full day in the Samburu reserve with morning and evening game drives.
Day 10 Samburu –Nairobi
Leave for Nairobi after breakfast.

MH13 Amboseli – Tsavo West – South Coast

Day 1 Nairobi- Amboseli
Depart Nairobi for Amboseli. Check in and lunch at the lodge or camp.
Evening game drive and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2 Amboseli
Full day at Amboseli with game drives and cultural visits.
Relax and over night stay at the lodge.
Day 3 Amboseli - Tsavo West
Leave for Tsavo West after breakfast and check in for lunch at the lodge or camp.
Relax and overnight stay.
Day 4 Tsavo west
Spend a full day in the park with game drives, walking safaris and landscape viewing. Overnight stay at the camp.
Day 5 Tsavo West –Mombasa
After breakfast leave for Mombasa, visit Fort Jesus national monument and Haller Park.
Lunch and proceed to the South coast. Check in at the beach hotel or cottages for overnight stay.
Day 6 South coast
Full day at the south coast relaxing and beach walks.Dinner at Ali Barbour’s Cave Restaurant.
Day 7 South coast
Full day at the south coast, visit Kisite Marine Park for snorkeling, dolphin spotting and diving. Lunch at Wasini Island and back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 South coast
Spend the morning hours in South coast and drive to Mombasa for Nairobi flight.
Back in Nairobi in the mid afternoon, relax dinner and overnight stay.

MH14 Mt Kenya – Samburu – Tsavo West

Day 1
Depart for Mt.Kenya and check in at Mt.Kenya Safari club in Nanyuki. Relax and overnight stay in the club.
Day 2
Drive to Mt.Kenya National Park after breakfast, for mountain climbing whole morning.
Return to the hotel for lunch and afternoon rest.
Day 3 Mt.Kenya –Samburu
Leave early morning for Samburu and arrive late afternoon. Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Samburu
Spend a full day with game drives and cultural visits in the reserve. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day5 Samburu –Nairobi
Fly to Nairobi after breakfast and leave for Amboseli. Arrive in Amboseli late afternoon and check in at a tented camp or safari lodge.
Day 6 Amboseli
Amboseli whole day; game drives and cultural visits. After lunch relax, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or camp.
Day 7 Amboseli –Tsavo West
Depart for Tsavo West; visit the Shetani Lava and Mzima Springs picnic sites. Check in at the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 Tsavo West –Nairobi
Bush breakfast and check out of the camp and leave for Nairobi.
Dinner at the carnivore restaurant, transfer to the airport for departure.

12 - 13 Days Safari Adventure

MH15 Nairobi – Rift Valley – Mt Elgon – Samburu – Meru Day1 Nairobi whole day; Visit the National Museums of Kenya, Karen Blixen Museum, the Bomas of Kenya and the Giraffe Centre. Also Nairobi Safari Walk or a preferred combination of these. Overnight stay at the hotel Day2 Visit Hell’s gate National Park, hike at the gorge and visit the geothermal power station. Boat ride at Lake Naivasha and have lunch at a hotel. Proceed to Nakuru and check in at the lodge or Camp for overnight stay.

Day3
Lake Nakuru Park the whole morning, visit Nakuru town and Menengai crater in the afternoon and back to hotel or Camp.
Day 4
Visit Lake Bogoria and Baringo. Lunch at Lake Bogoria and boat ride to the Jemps community. Proceed to the scenic Kerio Valley and check in at Sego club for overnight stay.
Day 5
Leave for Kitale via Eldoret after breakfast. Check in at Delta Crescent Camp and sanctuary for camping or Banda accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day6
Visit Mt.Elgon National Park. The elephant caves and Endebbes Bluff, and back to Delta Crescent camp for lunch and afternoon stay.
Day 7
Visit Kapenguria; the museum, Saiwa Swamp National Park and back to Delta Crescent.
Day 8
Leave for Nakuru, arrive mid afternoon for lunch at the hotel. Relax and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day9
Leave for Samburu, arrive late afternoon for lunch. Set up camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day10
Samburu whole day, relaxing and game drives. Back to the camp for overnight stay.
Day 11
Leave for Meru Park, and check in at the bandas/lodge/camp for overnight stay.
Day12
Meru whole day, relaxing and game drives in the park.
Day13
Leave for Nairobi.

Mountain Climbing Adventures

MH16 Mt. Kenya: Naro- Moru Route

Day 1 Nairobi-Naro-Moru
Leave Nairobi for Naro-Moru town for lunch. Check in at the lodge or Camp site for the rest of the day and night acclimatization.
Day 2 Naro-Moru –Met station
After breakfast drive to the main gate. Start ascending the mountain through the rain forest for 10 kilometres to the met station for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Met station –Mackinders hut
After breakfast, continue ascending to Mackinder’s camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 Mackinders hut –Met station
Wake up very early in the morning around 2.30am, attempt point Lenana via Australian hut to Mackinder’s camp for breakfast, and then descend down to Met station for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Met station –Nairobi
After breakfast, descend the last bit of the mount from the station via Naro –Moru main gate for a short drive to Naro –Moru town to catch your transport back to Nairobi or Nanyuki.

MH17 Mt. Kenya: Sirimon route

Day 1 Nairobi –Nanyuki
Leave Nairobi for Nanyuki. Spend the rest of the day resting at your hotel/Banda/camp site
Day 2 Nanyuki –Old Moses
Leave for Sirimon gate where the climbing starts. Walk through the rain forest for nine kms (5 hours walk) to the first mountain hut –old Moses (3300m) for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Old-Moses Shipton camp
After breakfast at old –Moses, continue climbing through Mackinder’s valley to the second hut Ship ton hut (4200m) for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 Shipton hut –Old Moses
Early in the morning we climb to point Lenana 4985m (17,058 ft), on a very clear day we should be able to see Mt.Kilimanjaro in the South, Mt. Elgon to the West and the Indian Ocean to the East. We descend to Shipton camp for main breakfast and soon after, descend to Old Moses for the night.
Day 5 Old Moses- Nairobi
After breakfast transfer from old Moses to catch transport to Nairobi.

MH18 Mt. Kenya: Sirimon Up; Chogoria Down Day 1 Nairobi-Nanyuki Leave Nairobi by public means accompanied by our mountain guide arriving Nanyuki in time for lunch. Afternoon is spent in Nanyuki acclimatizing. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Nanyuki. Day 2 Nanyuki –Old Moses After breakfast, drive to the Sirimon park gate and begin your 5 hour hike to old Moses camp, 3330m above sea level for meals and overnight at the hut.

Day 3 Old Moses Camp –Shipton Camp
After breakfast, walk from old Moses camp via Mackinders valley to Shipton hut (4200m). Dinner and overnight at the hut.
Day 4 Shipton -Lenana point-Mintos hut
Wake up very early in the morning around 2.30hours ready to hike to point Lenana (4985m). On a clear day we should be able to see Mt.Kilimanjaro to the South, Mt.Elgon to the West and the Indian Ocean to the east after Lenana point, descend to Mintos (4250m) for breakfast then proceed to road head for lunch, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Chogoria –Nairobi
After breakfast, an early walk will take us to Chogoria for lunch then back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon having conquered Mt.Kenya.

MH19 5 Days –Aberdares

Day 1
Depart Nairobi through Kikuyu land to Nyeri in time for lunch. Explore the provincial headquarters on the foot and later in the evening visit one of the local pubs. Dinner and overnight in a hotel (budget).
Day 2
Drive to Mweiga Park gate headquarters to pick a range (this is compulsory) Drive to Karura falls where the trekking starts. Trek through various options to Chania falls with picnic en route. Dinner and overnight in a selected campsite.
Day 3
Hike for 16 kms to the Wanderis and through various options with picnic lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at a campsite.
Day 4
After an early head upwards through various options to Satima Summit, from the summit descend to Wanderis road head for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
After breakfast leave the rangers via Wanderi Gate to Mweiga Park headquarters where you drop the ranger. Drive back to Nairobi for your next destination.

MH20 4 Days Mt. Elgon Trekking

Day 1
Leave Bundari village after breakfast and hike for 13 kms, to Sasa river camp (2800m) through the rich highlands. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2
After an early breakfast hike for 5 kms to Mude cave camp for lunch. Explore the ancient caves once used as hideout in tribal wars. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3
Leave after breakfast and hike up to peak Wagagi (4300m) and the Jackson summit which are lower than Wagagi (4200m) Descend to Sasa river camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Descend the last bit of the mountain to Budandari village where the trip ends. An optional for an extra day to visit the hot springs and the caldera is advisable.

Ngorongoro – Serengeti (MH21)

Day 1 Nairobi- Lake Manyara
Arrive Namanga border town at 10:00hours.After immigration formalities, drive to Arusha for lunch. Afternoon game viewing at Lake Manyara National park famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. The park contains five distinct vegetation zones and is of scenic beauty. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara hotel, sited on top of the Rift Valley with spectacular views over the lake, or at your campsite/lodge.
Day 2 Lake Manyara-Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, taking picnic lunch with you, descend 2000ft (670m) into the crater floor in four drive land rovers with pop up roofs. Full day crater tour with break lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. The main crater is 165km and contains constant animal population of varied species. Black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, and other grazing animals early evening to Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Ngorongoro-Serengeti
07:30hours leave Ngorongoro after breakfast for Olduvai George lunch to see where the animals of pre historic man were discovered by the famous archaeologist Dr.L.S.B Leakey and old Maasai home on the way. Proceed to Serengeti plains past Seronera and on to Lobo lodge/campsite.
Day 4 Serengeti
Leave Lobo for Ndutu with game viewing in Serengeti and around Ndutu woodlands to locate leopards and numerous plains games as well as cheetahs, common species here. Overnight at Ndutu lodge or campsite.
Day 5 Serengeti –Nairobi
After breakfast, with brief game viewing on your way out of Serengeti drive to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu village for shopping of makonde carving and other souvenirs. Lunch at Arusha hotel. Drive to Nairobi via Namanga border town, arriving early evening.
7 Days – Kilimanjaro
Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and one of the largest extinct volcanoes. It can be climbed at any time except in April and May during the long rains. January to March and August to October are the best climbing seasons. We use Marango route that is the easiest and most accessible.
